I wrote and recorded my first song called "Who am I" already at the age of 13. At the age of 19, I won a local talent hunt in Örebro. I made a small attempt in 2000 to submit my CD to one of the largest record companies then. On the disc was my phone number, which I changed four weeks later. So I will never know if they were looking for me or not.
For the past 15 years I have mostly played covers and performed either by myself or with my band BUBB There have been pubs, weddings, baptisms, corporate events and larger parties. But I have also recorded some of my own songs under the name Antonio Simunovic. Below you can listen to "Vandraren".
I am an agile leader and a digital evangelist with more than 15 years of experience in digital business and delivering excellent data-driven user experiences.
In addition to all kinds of experiences in the tech area and product development, I have extensive experience of coaching successful teams and individuals to maximize their full potential.
I do not like to guess, but I like to test and experiment my hypotheses and rather fail fast on the way to "Good enough for now. Safe enough to try".
The most important thing for me is that I really make a difference. My contribution must be meaningful.
I am a proud professional with a lot of self-drive who loves to have fun at work.
Most of all I would like to call myself a "leader without a title" as I want to be defined based on the changes I manage to implement. Implementation and discipline are as obvious to me as creativity and innovation in both thought and action.
After 16 years in the industry (over 20 if we include university studies), I have done most things. Been a developer, project manager, requirements analyst, product owner, agile coach, Scrum master, business developer, etc.
I have been a manager and leader in Tech for the past 7 years. As I see it, one of the most important responsibilities as a leader is to make sure we create value and have well-functioning team and employees who develop and feel at home. In short, I put a lot of energy into "make people awesome".
As a leader, I am very inclusive and want to make my employees grow and take responsibility all the way where "we succeed together" is a given mantra. I give a lot of freedom and want them to be able to make their own decisions and use me more as a sounding board. The manager does not always know best. I am extremely keen to be a present leader and have 1-on-1s regularly with my employees in addition to daily ad hoc calibrations and synchronizations.
Maybe a little unusual but I like the mix of being very close to where it all happens and have no problem being very operational at the same time as I love spending time with my management team where we work tactically and long-term for the entire department and our tech-culture.
